Occupational Respiratory Wellness Programme

Measure. Support. Reassess.

Advancing Respiratory Health Through Data

LungSync™ brings baseline spirometry, airway-clearance support with AirPhysio®, and reassessment into one record — so you can see participation, adherence and outcome trends across your workforce.

This platform records measurements taken by your health practitioner and readings you self-report. It does not diagnose or treat any condition.

The programme

A three-step clinical protocol your OH team already understands

01

Measure

An occupational health nurse or practitioner runs baseline spirometry on your workers — FEV1, FVC, PEF — alongside a short symptom check. Values and trends only; no diagnosis by the platform.

02

Support

Where results or symptoms meet your site criteria, a worker is issued an AirPhysio® airway-clearance device and supported with daily use, reminders and technique guidance.

03

Reassess

At 4–8 weeks, spirometry is repeated. LungSync produces a before/after report — de-identified aggregates for the employer, an identified clinical copy for the practitioner.

The report

One click turns the programme into a before/after report

At reassessment, LungSync generates a branded PDF: aggregate outcomes for the employer, an identified clinical appendix for the practitioner. Here is the format — the figures below are illustrative, not a measured result.

Evidence summary

Honest evidence, cited at source

We describe the mechanism and the published research plainly, and every workplace pilot measures its own cohort's before-and-after result rather than promising a fixed gain.

OPEP

Oscillating positive expiratory pressure — the mechanism AirPhysio uses to support airway clearance and lung expansion.

4–8 wks

Typical reassessment window between baseline and follow-up spirometry in a workplace programme.

≥ 10

Minimum cohort size before any employer aggregate is shown — de-identification is enforced, not optional.

Read the published studies, each summarised with its citation and evidence level, in the LungSync evidence library. Claims are limited to airway clearance and lung-expansion support; the platform makes no diagnostic or measurement claims.

The device

AirPhysio® — drug-free airway clearance

A handheld OPEP — Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure device that helps loosen mucus and support lung expansion. Four variants matched to lung capacity. LungSync tracks daily use and reassessment; the device is purchased from the official South African store.

Employer ROI

What respiratory absence is costing you — and the saving band

Adjust the assumptions for your workforce. This is a planning estimate to frame a pilot business case, not a clinical or financial guarantee.

Adjust the assumptions to match your workforce. The saving band models a 10–25% reduction in respiratory-related absence — a planning estimate, not a guaranteed or measured clinical outcome.

Book a 60-day workplace pilot

We'll design a Measure–Support–Reassess pilot for one of your sites: baseline spirometry, device issue, daily support, and a reassessment report at 4–8 weeks — with a de-identified outcomes summary for your leadership.

  • • Aggregate reporting only for employers (minimum cohort of 10)
  • • Consent-first and POPIA-aligned from day one
  • • Runs alongside your existing occupational health provider
